ich bräuchte mal nen Tipp, wie man folgende Aufgabe angeht:
Gegeben sei die Funktion f(x,y) = x² + y² + x.
Geben Sie das kleinste x in Dezimaldarstellung an, bei dem f eine kritische Stelle besitzt.
Ich habe die Hesse-Matrix aufgestellt und die Determinate berechnet. Das richtige Ergebnis ist -0,5 - ich kriege nur nicht raus, wie man dahin kommt.

View profileDas ist an sich ganz einfach: Du bildest die 1. Ableitung von f(x) nach x. Du bekommst den Term 2x+1. Diesen setzt Du gleich 0 und löst nach x auf:
2x+1 = 0
2x = -1
x = -1/2
Die kritischen Werte bekommst Du, wenn die 1. Ableitung = 0 gesetzt wird.
Nachdem Du nur x berechnen sollst, brauchst Du weder nach y abzuleiten, noch die Hesse-Matrix zu erstellen.
